Practice Westerpark

Welcome to my new practice, right next to the Westerpark in Amsterdam. The premises are furbished as far as possible with natural materials. A bamboo wood floor, chairs of natural cane, a screen made of rice paper and textiles brought over from India, Nepal and Thailand all add to the warmth and authenticity of the practice. The massage table can be adjusted in terms of its height and is made of slow-moving foam which together with the low level lighting makes the practice spaces comfortable and relaxing for your personal massage. A mild aromatic essential oil fills the space and you may choose to listen to your own music on your IPod/IPhone to drift off on while being massaged.

There is parking in the streets nearby for non-residents but only for those who have to be in the neighbourhood. There are more (paid) parking spots available than generally is the case in Amsterdam.

It takes about 5 minutes by bicycle to come from the Central Station and on foot the practice is about 500 yards from the outer edge of the Jordaan/Canal Zone. Tram 3, bus 21 of 22 will bring you to the Haarlemmerplein and this is only about a 3 minute walk through the park while tramline 10 will bring you to the Limburg Stirumplein which is also only about a 3 minute walk away.

A massage at the Westerpark practice can easily be combined with a visit to the Hammam across the road (Monday is men only, the rest of the week is women only), or a visit to the Architectural Museum The Ship or simply with a walk in the park with the many attractions the Westerpark has to offer: the cinema in "Het Ketelhuis, the cafe 'de bakkerswinkel', a drink on a terrace at Pacific Park, or attending a recording of the daily Dutch TV magazine programme 'De Wereld Draait Door', etc.
